Hard skills are acquired by formal education, Soft skills or Behavioral skills come through training, guidance and experience.
Getting a job is a big challenge as there is tough competition among the youngsters (around 50% of the Indian population of 125 crore is under 25 years).

DEVELOPING SOFT SKILLS

Soft skills create an image, impression and overall personality

Three key areas of soft skills:

Moral education and motivation: It’s about child development, values, discipline, importance of studies/sports, maintaining relations, and so on (for school going children)

Campus to Corporate: It’s about acquiring soft skills like resume writing, interview skills, communication skills, corporate grooming/image building and etiquette (for collegians aspiring for jobs)

Corporate Familiarization: It’s about corporate structure, culture, regulations, code of conduct, ethics, corporate HR and related policies, expectations, do’s and don’ts in office (for freshers in job who want to impress and rise)
